History teacher Claire Venouziou who works at 8^th General Lyceum in Ioannina in northwestern Greece is looking for a partner school from Berlin to start an exchange on remembrance issues, the co-existance of different communities, multicultural societies and social inclusion.

Agorayouth: You are teaching in a General Lyceum in Ioannina and already have experience with school exchanges. What profile does your school have?
Claire Venouziou: I am a teacher of Greek language, literature and history. I am interested in all kinds of cultural and historical projects that promote the co-existence between different communities and show the history of a city and their citizens. As all the other students in general schools our students are taught many different subjects as language, history, maths, physics, chemistry, economy or foreign languages.

What pupils will participate in the exchanges with Germany? Will the working language be English? 
Claire Venouziou: We are a general Lyceum and our students are aged 16 to 18 years. Some of them really like history, which is my favorite topic. So I would like to create exchanges dealing with historical aspects. We suggest to work on topics connected with multicultural societies and social inclusion. Ioannina is a city with great history during ages and we can focus on monumental places and their history. We prefer to exchange in English as working language because all of our students speak English.
